Black money: SIT has made some progress, says Supreme Court

The Supreme Court said the special investigation team (SIT) set up to inquire into black money stashed by Indians in foreign banks had made “some progress”. The Narendra Modi government had announced the SIT within days of taking office, reflecting its intent to go after such money, which the ruling BJP estimates at about $1 trillion.
